Method and calculation rules
Assume every device draws the entered standby watts continuously for 24 hours per day.
Display values are rounded for readability. The calculation uses the entered numbers before display rounding. Whole-unit outputs use the rounding rule stated in the method.
Know your inputs
- Device count — Accepted range: 0 to 1000 in whole numbers.
- Standby watts per device — Accepted range: 0 to 1000000.
- Days counted — Accepted range: 1 to 366 in whole numbers.
